There has been some mixed information in Australia about the son of
Archibald and Flora McMillan (nee McIntyre), Angus. Angus' parents
left Oskamull and went to Portland, Victoria Australia in 1853 on the
New Zealander. Their son Angus was reported to have left for
Victoria before them and I have now obtained his death certificate
and have confirmed which of the two possible Angus McMillans was the
one related our family. Daryl from the Ballarat Genealogical Society
has provided me with the following. I am wondering if anyone knows on
which ship Angus may have travelled to Australia, given that it seems
from his death certificate that he came in abt 1841. Angus' son John
McMillan was the informant at his death. He was a farmer at
Burrawang, New South Wales
