Hi,

Wondering about this oddly named fellow. He is apparently buried with FLETCHERs on Mull. Why? Jane FLETCHER (wife/mother on this headstone) was once Jane BLACK. Was she married to a GUTHRIE previously? Is Arbuthnot her son?

A Google search shows that Arbuthnot C. GUTHRIE bought Torosay Castle in 1865. A farther search shows that the present owner is Christopher GUTHRIE, a ggg nephew of Arbuthnot.

Just wondering what the GUTHRIE-FLETCHER connection is. Thank you!
