Hi Malcolm,



I guess we are "doing Fletchers". My father is the last FLETCHER born in

their traditional place of origin, Glenorchy. Two generations before him

were involved in the cattle droving business in the area of Glen Aros, Mull.


Dad spent most of his school years, living with FLETCHER relatives, in

Tobermory. There were also many related (but not sure how just yet)

FLETCHERs already on Mull & had been there possibly more than 100 years

before our lot arrived.



Bob Murray, on this list, is quite knowledgeable about the earlier group of

FLETCHERs. He & Dad are attempting to connect the various FLETCHER groups

together right now. I will show Dad these last few messages regarding these


FLETCHERs - maybe he has some information about them.
