Hi Jim
I noticed the name Parlan MacPharlain in your posting,this branch married
into my Dewar Line in Carluke.
I just wondered if there was any connection with yours ?.

Parlane MacFarlane was a Woollen Cloth Manufacturer and resided at Bealanawe
Cottage, Lochgilphead. I have come across various spellings of the name.
You will find on the last page details from the family grave in
Lochgilphead.
