Hello Everyone, this my first note. I am hoping that one or many of you can be of help.

I am trying to connect the following two people, Duncan McAlpine and Donald McAlpine. Both were born in Lochgilphead, Argyll, Scotland. Donald in 1763 and Duncan on March 1, 1791. Both are reported to have been married to Janet Ginnett Morrison who was born in 1774 in Knapdale, Argyll, Scotland. She died March 15, 1862 in Metcalf Twp., Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada.

I am also trying to trace the origin of one A.P. McDonald reported in the 1861 federal census of Sombra Township, Lampton County, Ontario, as living in Sombra Township, Occupation: Innkeeper. A.P. is reported a having been born about 1819 in Ontario, according to information in the 1861 census. According to information that I have, he is my Great Great Grandfather; however, I do not have any further information about the family origins.

I am hoping someone out there can help me fill in the missing data. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
