There are two families of RUSSEL in the 1851 census at Dervaig in adjacent
households which suggests that they are connected:

Julian RUSSEL/40/widow
Catharine RUSSEL/6/daughter
Marion RUSSEL/4/daughter

Hugh RUSSEL/40/crofter 2 1/2 acres
Catharine RUSSEL/39/wife
Margaret RUSSEL/15/daughter (yours?)
William RUSSEL/9/son
John RUSSEL/7/son
Colina RUSSEL/5/son (?) born Tyree

All the others are shown as born in Kilninian & Kilmore.

I'll have a look in the 1841 and post anything I find in another email.
