Hello Catherine,
I have so far been unable to prove a positive
connection between the MacKechnie brothers and myself. All that I ever had
to go on was remarks made by a local man when I visited Fionnphort in the
early '60s. He certainly seemed to know about my great grandfather Donald
MacGilvra.
