Terry,
I'm back on deck now so hope someone did the Sarah look up for you.
Re the books. I think I listed them on Ian's Mull site. I only have
them as photocopies . I paid $50 for a day in the Boston Genealogy
Society so that I could look at one of them since they would not let me look
at a "rare" book as a "visitor".
I believe that some people on the Maclean genealogy list were able to obtain
copies of reprints through the various USA book companies like Amazon.com
so a query on that list might bring some information.
Meantime the titles again
Maclean J.P. "A history of the clan Maclean" first published 1889
Revised edition published 1986 by Scotpress, P.O. 397 Bruceton Mills W>V>
26525 for the Clan Maclean Society USA ISBN 0-912951-42-7

Historical and Genealogical Account of the Clan Maclean by a Seneachie
London. Smith elder and Cornhill & Co. and Laing and Forbes Edinburgh
1838
My photocopy was copied at $1 per page from the LDS film

Maclean Sinclair Rev. A "The Clan Gillean" Charlottetown, Hazard and Moore
1899. My copy photocopied by a friend who went to Glasgow Mitchell
library.
no ISBN given.

Hope this helps. Jean
