Dear Ida and everyone,
The Neil McKinnon you have below is mine too.
However, I believe him to be my direct ancestor
rather than all the cousins by marriage etc. that
I have posted so far.
I think Neil is the father of my Farquhar...I have a
great deal of circumstantial evidence but real proof
I need.
In the meantime, I will just add that the name of Neil's
wife is Margely McGillivray.They were both born in the
parish of Kilfinichen.
Neil and Margely came to the Red River settlement
in Manitoba with the Selkirk settlers and then to
Ontario.
Is anyone else researching Selkirk settlers from Mull?
