My father's mother was Annie Schutte born 8 Aug 1876 in Galveston, Tx.
Her father was Heinrich Diedrich Schutte born 28 Mar 1850 in Schoenemoor,
Oldenburg. He was the youngest of 12 children of Gerd Hinrich Schutte who
was born in Schoenemoor 29 Jul 1798.

I have no record of Heinrich Diedrich's trip to America, but know from other
records that he went to N Y in 1865 and to Texas in 1869. He married
Elizabeth Bleike in 1875 in Galveston and they had 9 children. He died in
1906 in Galveston.

I would be happy to hear from anyone that might know of any connection.
