Julie,
Thank you so much for all your great help. I do think it's Scandinavian,
but I wouldn't know that unless I had seen that site. Thank you a million
for helping! I've been stuck on her forever. I was able to email a couple
of the embassies so surely they can read English! Keeping my fingers
crossed.

Thank you for your time!
Dolores

> hi Dolores - Desidera Carolina Emerenlia Björklund is the name on that
web site. since i can't read the language, i have no way of knowing if
Emerenlia is a given name or a maiden name. i have no knowledge of how the
Scandinavians name their children; i had a friend who was Cuban and they
were given, along with their "given name," both the father's surname name
and the mother's surname. don't know if the Scandinavians did something
similar.

EMERENLIA there.

of the Danish Embassy, the Embassy of Finland, the Norwegian Embassy and the
Swedish Embassy in Washington DC, along with links to each of their web
pages. You may be able to contact them and learn more about the origin of
the EMERENLIA name.
