I am a bit slow with my genealogy lately with a lot of other distractions,
however I was tidying up my records and became puzzled with your John
Scadden (1822-1885), in particular how you connected him with Richard
Scadden (1775-1833) so perhaps you can straighten me out.
If John was born in 1822 then his mother certainly wasn't Richard's wife
Catherine Penhale because she was still in Cornwall at that time, but there

Not long to Christmas now, and then the holiday season. I am looking forward
to a week in Merimbula in January with two of my sons and their families.
Plenty of swimming and fishing in store. My eldest son lives in Melbourne
while my youngest son and I live in Sydney which means we will meet at about
the half way point.
