I appreciate this answer. However, Dr. William Savage was the son of John Savage V (d. in 1792) and Margaret Waters of Accomack co., VA. He was m. 1st to Hester Anna Dennis on 8 Sept 1794, daughter of Robert Dennis of Worcester co., MD. m. 2nd to Mary Hubbell Polk (widow of Judge Polk) on 16 Apr 1813, Somerset co., MD. Removed to Augusta, GA abt 1818 and had two children born in Augusta, GA: 1. Mary Hubbel Savage b. Jan 1826 and 2. John P. King Savage b. abt 1829. I believe he died in Augusta, GA but have no proof.
