Looking for ancestors (and descendants) of Samuel Sands of Surry county
Virginia. Here is what I know so far.

Samuel Sands b. unk (est 1700) d. about 1736 (a date on his will is 1736) in
Surry County Va. he was married to Sarah Barham b. abt 1700 d. Jan 1772 she
was the daughter of Robert Barham and Elizabeth Clark. Sarah married Thomas
Moore after the death of Samuel Sands.

Their known children are John Sands and Samuel (jr) Sands. Samuel was bound
out on 11-09-1749 and John on 1-12-1753 to satisfy a debt.

John married Lucy Newsom in June 1762 and they had a daughter named Mary.

Samuel (Jr) we believe married Amy Wright (no proof) and they had at least
one son Barham

John, Samuel (jr) and Barham are all listed in the will of Sarah (Barham)
Moore.

It is believed that John stayed in Virginia and Samuel moved to NC.

My line comes thru Samuel (jr) to Barham to Thomas Barham Sands who moved
from N. C. to Jones County Georgia and then to Harris County Georgia.
