Sam,
Does the name Cyril Lawton/Lanton/Stanton/? mean anything? Address circa 1919/20 33 Ontario Sr, Port Arthur, Ontario, Canada. Possibly former Canadian 2nd Division in WW1.
If so I will fill in more details.
I also have many Rylands in Liverpool 19th and early 20th centuries - my mother's family. They seemed to originate in County Dublin, Ireland.

I have posted an extensive family tree on some members of the Ryland/Stanton/Nickle/Aylesworth/Aylsworth family in Canada (and to a lessor extent in the USA) on RootsWeb at http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=samaylesworth001

I hope that other members of our extended family may find this information be of value.

My maternal great-grandmother was Martha Jane Stanton, daughter of Thomas Stanton (from Ireland) and Rachel Ann Ryland. Thomas and Rachel Ann were married in Pennsylvania. Rachel Ann was a descendant of Paulus Reylandt & his wife Louisa. Martha Jane Stanton married George Nickle. I descend from one of their sons, Samuel Clarence Nickle.

I would welcome contact with members of the extended Ryland, Stanton and Nickle Ryland families.

Best wishes,
Sam Aylesworth
Calgary, Alberta, Canada
