Dear Rooters,

I have been researching the JUNE surname, trying to find the line that my Levi June belongs to. During this research, I happened to run across a book called "Huguenots of Colonial South Carolina". This book is displayed at the Heritage Books Online Library.

John JUNE was among the persons listed as proprietors in a letter of January 29, 1695 to the Governor and Council of South Carolina. These Frenchmen Huguenots were petitioning for permission to purchase salt.

Is there anyone out there that is connected to this line or have knowledge of how John JUNE might be connected to the JAYNE/JANE/JUNE's of NY and Canada?

Thanks, in advance, for any help on this one.
Evelyn Hanks
