I am researching the Roof family. I married a Roof. His grandfather is Rex Roof who married Helen Smith. Rex's father was George Franklin Roof who married May Stube in Wells, IN. George Roof was born in Indiana, his father was born in Virginia and his mother in Indiana. Do you have any information on this family?
