Hello

I was promised some documents sent to me on John Rogers born 1651 of St.
Mary's Co., Maryland, who married a Mary. However, such documents have not
arrived and I now wonder/doubt if they ever will.

On Ancestry.com there are several references to John Rogers born
1640/1644, marrying an Isabelle 1664. One such has this same Isabelle also
marrying Thomas Orrell. I find nothing now listed on John Rogers born 1651
of St. Mary's Co., Maryland who married a Mary.

John Rogers born 1680, has son Richard Rogers born 1714. The Will of
Thomas Orrell, showing Richard Rogers as "grandson", should be enough to show
that Isabelle Orrell was wife to John Rogers born 1680.

However, is the Isabelle listed as marrying John Rogers born 1640/1644 of
St. Mary's County, an error, or another Isabelle, who later married Thomas
Orrell? The next item is, this John Rogers born 1651 of St. Mary's Co.,
Maryland, the same John Rogers as the John Rogers shown born in 1640/1644 of
St. Mary's Maryland?

As a result, NO FACTS are available as of yet to prove who the parents are
of John Rogers born 1680 Charles County Maryland. Many many researchers,
over the years, have yet to find such, with great continued efforts of many
to find such. My cousin, Chuck Rogers has gone to a very great effort to
find such as well, as many others in the family. So therefor, I find the
postings on Ancestry.com that show parents for John Rogers born 1680 Charles
County Maryland as without basis at this time.
