SCHOFIELD, Jessie May
SCHOFIELD, Jessie May - 88, Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville, formerly
of Baxter's Harbour, Kings Co., died Wednesday, December 26, 2001, in Valley
Regional Hospital, Kentville. She was a daughter of the late David and Loretta
(Warden) Rogers. She was a member of Baxter's Harbour Baptist Church. She is
survived by sons, Eugene "John" (Patricia), Sheffield Mills, Kings Co.; Cecil
(Doris), Sheffield Mills; Edwin (Maureen), United States; sisters, Mildred Schofield,
Centreville, Kings Co.; Edith Cameron, Moncton, N.B.; several grandchildren
and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William; son, Wilfred;
daughter, Margaret Rose; brothers, Everett, John, William "Bill", Ralph, Howard,
Bryon, Leslie and infant brother, Scott; sisters, Bessie, Gladys, Beatrice,
Kay and Ethel. Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Friday, December 28, with funeral
service 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29, both in W.C. Hiltz Funeral Parlour, Kentville,
Rev. Robert Billings officiating. Burial will take place in Baxter's Harbour
Cemetery. Family flowers only by request. Donations in memory may be to the
Baxter's Harbour Community Hall, Baxter's Harbour Baptist Church or a charity
of your choice
