Hi Tracy,
The following info was published in "The Nova Scotia Historical Quarterly", June 1979, 'The Family of Rolen Rogers, A New England Planter in King's County', p 177-187, by Allen B Robertson, who identified four additional children of Rowland and Lucretia (Rogers) Rogers through study of land transactions and probate records. Rowland, Stephen's brother-in-law, also emigrated as a New England Planter to take up land grants in the vacated Acadian farmland, receiving 500 acres in Horton township.
Information on the newly identified children is as follows:

Lucretia Rogers, m Elisha DODGE, were living in Colchester, New London, CT by Feb 1802. (She was still single in Oct 1801 when she and her brother, Joseph, sold their share of inherited dyke land.) She left no descendants in NS

Joseph Rogers (may have been the youngest son in the family); farmer; res Horton til abt 1801. Father of a girl (b Oct 1798) by Sarah NORBREY (perhaps dau of Thomas Norbrey); Sarah m _______? Crane (by Jun 1799). Joseph moved to New London, CT; m Catherine ______?; no known descendants in NS. He sold (1802) abt 50 acres (the western half of the second division farm lot bought of Rolen Rogers Jr, formerly owned by Rolen Sr) to the Rev Theodore Seth Harding, Baptist minister in Wolfville. (res there 1796-1855)

Jonathan Rogers: blacksmith; left Horton abt 1792. In Dec 1803, when he returned to Horton to sell his share of land inherited from his brother, John, he referred to his place of residence as Sheffield, Berkshire, MA.

Alice Rogers, youngest in the family, b abt 1770 m 6 Aug 1798 Robert LEMON, shoemaker/leatherworker; res Horton. (In 1851 a Thomas Lemon and family res Wolfville; possibly a grandson of Alice.)
Children of Alice and Robert Lemon:
i James Lemon b 16 Mar 1800
ii Lucretia Jane b 7 Oct 1801 (the year her grandmother, Lucretia Rogers died)
iii Sarah Maria b 6 Feb 1804

Hugs
Eric

Hi Eric

Previously I had only four children for Rolen and Lucretia. I see you have
added four other children: Lucretia, Joseph, Jonathan and Alice through
some research in land and probate records. Great work.

Do you have the dates and additional info. on them?

Thanks

Tracy
