Many thanks for those names; I can't see any immediate connections to my RODGERs but will bear them in mind.

My RODGER ancestor, James 1804-1888, as a mariner, was also very mobile and moved from Fife to Greenock, to Belfast and then Liverpool before returning to Scotland, Cathcart after the death of his wife (another Taylor) .
