Hi,
It's interesting to see all of these surnames that are also in my family tree. Rodger, Smeaton & Greig are all surnames in my mothers side of our family. Are these common Scottish names or is there possibly a link? The Smeaton name has been passed down as a middle name to my mothers Aunty also. She was Margaret Smeaton Rodger born in Australia in 1888. My Great Grandfather James Myles Rodger & his wife Ann Donaldson Neilson came to Australia to live in 1883.
My families came from St.Andrews, Kincaple & Strathkinness in Fife and Aberdalgie & Forgandenny in Perth.
