You are all correct! Alexander Sharpston was my Great Grandfather. He's buried in Alabama. His youngest daughter, Eliza Annie Sharpston married George Washington Stutts, and raised my mom and older aunts and (1) uncle. George W. Stutts was a city councilman, and some other colorful titles. He died in January 1930. My grandmother (Eliza)and the youngest kids moved to Waco, Texas with one of the older girls, Martha & John Gist, her husband. Check out my ancestry lines. (Stutts / Sharpton/Scharfenstein)Most match, and I've been doing this for 20 years; still don't have it all! Happy Findings! Janet
