I'm wondering if anyone can shed light on Ephraim, Caleb or Oliver Roberts
who appear on the 1774 census of Cranston, RI. Each show daughters under 16
years of age. My brickwall is Sarah ROBERTS ... born 1770, died 1855 ...
buried Scituate, Rhode Island.

Sarah was married to Benoni Sarle who died in 1822 and they are buried
together RI Historic Cemetery SC 107. Efforts to find her death recorded in
Scituate or Providence unsuccessful.
Benoni and Sarah had five children ... two of whom were named Oliver and
Waitey.

Waitey Barton was a wife of Oliver ROBERTS ... the couple marrying in 1796.
Oliver had earlier marriages ...

Believe Ephraim has been eliminated ... he left a will, my Sarah is not
named.
