ROBERTSON, Mary (Molly) married 1905 in CA to Wm J LUNSFORD Jr
Tracing William "Bill" J. Lunceford Sr has been a problem in so far as
there are two William J. Luncefords both born in Missouri. William
"Bill" James Lunceford was born 1846 in Polk Co. MO, the son of Coffman
and Elizabeth Campbell Lunceford. Bill left Polk Co. after the death
of his father and probably with his mother sometime after the 1860
census. His mother went to Bonham TX. Bill shows up in Napa CA in 1870
when he married on 16 September 1870 to Mary Evaline Stark. He and Mary
may have lived in the part of Napa County that is now covered by Lake
Berryessa. They were living in Colusa Co. CA during the 1880 census.
Bill died sometime between 1880 and 1888 when Mary remarried to
William Merritt. I would like to know when & where they died. Also, any
ROBERTSON connections per MOLLY below (ancestors, collaterals, etc)

The other William J. Lunceford was born 1847 in Missouri and was in
Oregon in the early 1870s. He married in Dallas OR on 17 Oct 1875 to
Eliza Hooker. He had a small ranch near Heppner OR and on 2 February
1892 he was shot and killed by John Ambrose. According to the 1880
census of Umatilla Co. OR his children were: Children:
Nettie Lunceford, b. ca 1877 OR
Daisey Lunceford, b. ca 1878 OR
"Babe" Lunceford, b. 1880 OR
