Hi,
I am related to ROBBS/BARRS through my DOUGLASS ancestors. There are 2 ROBB women married to DOUGLASS grandfathers in my tree. One is Rebeccah ROBB, married to my 4-GGrandfather Joseph DOUGLASS in which they had 2 girls Elisabeth and Sarah Jane. This Rebeccah says to be B-1/28/1795 KY. D-2/17/1887 KY. and they Married 9/5/1821 Brown Co. OH.
The other is Sarah ROBB, married to my 3-GGRandfather Robert T. DOUGLASS. She says to be B-1805 KY., D- c.1863 Logansport, IN. they Married-7/26/1827 Brown Co. OH. and had 9 chuildren. One of which would be my 2-GGrandfather James Robert DOUGLASS.
The BARRS come in through my 3-GGrand Robert T. when his brother Tyre DOUGLASS daughter Mary Ella married a James Major BARR, son of Mary Jane Goodwin and Thomas BARR.
The inquery I have is...Does anyone know of, or are related to Rebeccah ROBB or Sarah ROBB? I am trying this angle to get info on my ancestor, 5-ggrand William DOUGLASS. I am hoping through Rebeccah ROBB DOUGLASS.
