Barry,

may have a lead on your father and grandfather.

In the 1920 Census for Pickett County, Tennessee:
47/47
Lawrence O. Ringley, head, rents, m, w, 33, married, b Tenn, father b Va, mother b Tenn, laborer, horse farm
Retta or Betta, wife, f, w, 29, married, b Tenn, father b Tenn, mother b Tenn
Lee D., daughter, f, w, 7, single, b Tenn
Delman, son, m, w, 6, single, b Tenn
David, son, m, w, 4, single, b Tenn
Morris, son, m, w, 2, single, b Tenn
Ann S. Hill, aunt, f, w, 63, single, b Tenn, father b Tenn, mother b Tenn

Let us know if this fits. Do not know who Lawrence belongs to yet.

Cheers, Michael

Dear Michael,

My name is Barry Ringley and I live in Colorado Springs, CO. I grew up in Crossville, Cumberland County, Tennessee. My father is Morris Elmer Ringley and he grew up in Byrdstown, Pickett County, Tennessee. Dad is in an assisted living center in Knoxville, Tennessee and suffers from Alzheimer's. He isn't in the best of health memory wise. I am interested in tracing our geneology and would appreciate any help you might offer.

Thanks,

Bear (check out our web site - www.thebluestrain.com)
