RIDENOUR, Roy E. 59, of Springfield, Ohio passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends after a short battle with cancer.

He was born in Clinton, Tennessee on August 28, 1952 to Charlie and Delma (McGhee) Ridenour.

He served as an Army Serviceman from 1970-1973.
One of his jobs was working alongside his father in the family carpentry business where he acquired many skills that would be beneficial throughout his life.
He later worked side by side with his father-in-law as a CNC machinist at the family owned business, Dialton Manufacturing.
Prior to his illness he was employed by Woeber Mustard as a truck driver for 10 years.
He enjoyed doting on his granddaughter and nieces.

For many years he was known by the CB handle "skinny man." Roy enjoyed sharing his many life stories with anyone and everyone.
He is survived by his mother of Clinton, Tennessee; his loving wife, Barbara (Warren) whom he married on January 17, 1976.
