Good morning from Texas,
I am trying to find info related to my gr-grgrandmother - Elizabeth Rhea
French born in TN about 1809. During that time period I have found James,
John and Jesse Rhea (Ray). I have found that James Rhea and Mary Paul had a
son, John born in 1741 who married Rebecca Miller in Blount TN March 3,
1800. Does anyone know if John and Rebecca had any children and if so any
names or dates? I find Elizabeth Rhea in the 1840 Blount census with two
male children under 5 which confirms what we know of her children. There is
a record of Elizabeth Rhea married to Thomas French on July 19, 1840 and in
Blount Census of 1840 and thereafter she appears as Elizabeth French with
children with names and ages to connect to my grgrandfather who arrived in
Texas and appears on the 1870 census as Henry T Rhea. In the 1880 Blount
census it records her father as being born in Va. and her mother TN. If
anyone has run across anything in their research that can possibly shed
light on my Elizabeth I would appreciate help.
