Intriguing! My great-grandfather was a John L. Rhea. He however lived in
Knoxville TN. There was another John L.Rhea contemporary in Knoxville who
was a prosperous merchant. His lien parallels mine. Many same descendants
and cousins. He was single and never married, however. My line is through
Matthew. In can connect back to Sterling Rhea, and further back. The time
lines of all three John L. Rheas and my Rhea John L.'s son Robert W. had a
son named Floyd (my uncle).Good searching. Dr. Bob Barnes!
