I agree with you that Lewis' 7th son, William H. Ray, is not the one for
whomI am searching - Lewis' son was b. 1845 and our William married in 1837 . I
should mention that he died ca. 1845 in MS

Is there a William Henry Ray mentioned in the letter of the Will Parham
Papers? Are these papers available online?

Thank you so much for helping with this search. It is frustating not to have
found anything about his ancestry in all these years.
