Hello Lee Rhea Kunkel,
My Rhea Line came to Louisiana from Philadelphia, PA. His lineage
started with Robert Rhea/Janet Hampton; David Rhea/______; John Rhea/Mary Smith;
John R. Rhea/Emilie Rosa Raoul (2nd. marriage John R. Rhea/First marriage was to
Hulda Montgomery in Second Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, PA on Dec. 1
or 2nd, 1780). The first Rhea in America was Robert Rhea. The Rhea family
was in Monmouth, New Jersey. My John Rhea was a business man in Philadelphia,
PA. He died April 16, 1773 leaving a wife, Mary Smith Rhea, and six children.
My 3rd. great grandfather, John R. Rhea, moved to the Felicianas of Louisiana
at least by 1802 and became a junior partner in a business on Thompson Creek,
Cochran and Rhea. Do you see any connections? Martha Henagan Luby of
