Goodmorning HAROLD; My Sarah Catherine HACKNEY was born about
1867 in Ala. to W.W. HACKNEY and Louisa Reeves FREY, (I assume
that her maiden name was REEVES-not sure. Sarah and her parents
moved to Coryell Co. Tx. She married DR Thomas Henry FREY and
they had one child. Dera May FREY who appears to be an only child
born May 14 1898 in Ala, and died 24 Sep 1978. Sarah had two
brothers H.E. HACKNEY who lived in McGregor TZ and J.J. HACKNEY
who lived in McAllen Tx and died about eleven months prior to
Sarah.
Dera May FREY married Ed S. TREVEY who died 31 May 1959.(per
SSDI) As of this date I have not found any children for Dera May
and ED. She was a school teacher in Beaumont Tx.
The above info was given to me by Allen TYLER and a very helpful
lookup volunteer named Shirley WHITE. and 1920 Texas, Jefferson
Co, Beaumont (LDS) soundex film #1830502.
This is all the info I have on Sarah's family however I have a
great deal more on the FREY family (my mothers side).
I would be very pleased to receive any more info you may find on
this Sarah HACKNEY. Joe
