Searching for information reference the family of my great aunt, Sarah
CREECH RHEA, died November 15, 1928, in Maryville, TN, Blount, County. I
have only a copy of her death certificate and she is listed as :

White
Female
Married
65 years old
Birthplace: TN (Hawkins Co.)
Father: Ben Creech (Benjamin A.)
Mother: Ingram (Jane)
Informant: (Illegible) Rhea (POSSIBLY "Jno" abbreviation for John or
Jonathan?)
Address: Johnson City (TN)

Place of Burial or Removal: Ben Creek Date of burial: 12-17-1928

Undertaker: McCammon & Ammons

Does anyone recognize her and her Rhea family so that I can track them down?
I have added information that I know in the parentheses. Have pursued the
obvious clues. The funeral home has no more information than what is here
except as a date of birth "Feb. 29" which would be a leap year, but no year
is given. They have no information about her Rhea or Creech relatives. The
cemetery, is obviously Bent Creek, but although there are many Rheas buried
there, she isn't registered at least not on the Internet listing. I am in
TX and not able to go to TN to see for myself. Possibly, she was never
given a stone.

I believe that the death certificate information was given by her son, I
don't know why...maybe the handwriting and the fact that an actual date of
birth was not given and usually sons don't know their mother's year of
birth..it appears to have been written in a hurry. PLEASE if you remember
having an Aunt Sarah from 'way back then or have any clue...let me know.
She's a missing link in my family and vital to proving the life span of my
great grandmother. Plus I probably have Rhea cousins I've never known.
Thank you. Sharee Creech Shermer, Fredericksburg, TX
