Pat and all of the Rhea List,
Thanks to this list and the help from a wonderful lady in New Jersey, I
have proof of my Rhea Lineage from the progenitor in American to my great
great grandmother, Ann J. Rhea, in Louisiana. I would like to know more
about my Robert Rhea (progenitor in America) and his lineage prior to coming
to America. Since the "Staunch Presbyterians" came into and around Monmouth,
NJ, I would like information from those who have researched the Scottish
Heritage of this particular group of Rheas. Here is my direct lineage: l.
Robert Rhea and Janet Reed Hampton; 2. David Rhea and Anne_______; 3. John
Rhea and Mary Smith; 4. John R. Rhea (died in Clinton, Louisiana May 7, 1843,
and is buried in Clinton, LA) and Emelie Rosa Raoul (Marriage in 1805 is
recorded in Natchez, Mississippi); 5. Ann J. Rhea and Dr. Frederick Rowe
Harvey (born in 1813 in Hopkinton, New Hampshire and died September 16, 1862,
in Atchafalaya District, Louisiana); 6. Rhea Harvey and Ophelia Victoria
Rogers; 7. William Frederick Harvey and Mary Boykin; 8. Sarah Agnes Harvey
and Joseph Warren Henagan; 9. Martha Lee Henagan (Living) and John Franklin
Luby, Jr. (Living)
I also think that a roll call is a good idea. Martha Henagan Luby
