Did some research on Family Search.com and on Ancestry and came up with this info.
There was a Joshua Rhea b. Mo. Civil War Co H 35 Illinois Infantry enlisted Aug 29, 1861 Mustered out Sept 27, 1864 Wounded. applied for pension Feb 28, 1901 and then widow applied for pension Apr 18, 1925 Filed Illinois widow Carrie B. Rhea

Joshua Rhea b. IL 51 yrs old White Living State of Ok Kay Co. Twp. Blackwell in 1920 Census not the same person as above

1880 census Franklin, Morgan, IL
Head of Household R. B Burnett b. Ky age 58; wife Mary Burnett age 60 b. Va. John A. Ray age 6 b. Il single white in school grandson

also thought it interesting that Elizabeth Burnett b. Mo 1847

What it looks like to me is that This John A. Rhea was born, and then his mother died a few days later, and the dad just disappered. I was given this info years ago, by The Waverly Historical Soc. Elizabeth Burnett
and Joshua Rhea m. Aug. 20, 1873 Morgan Co IL by Rev. Newton Cloud Vol. 00C/p. 0081 License no was 00003288
