Hello,
I am researching the Rhea family line and was told that my Rhea County,
Tn. line may be the family from Virginia. I am a direct decendant of
Pleasant Rhea who was born in 1819 and married a lady by the name of Mariah
Killough, born in 1815, on Feb.21st,1840?
Also, I had a William Rhea(Ray) Esquire born in North Carolina in 1790 and
married to Mary Barnes (born Mar. 4, 1800) on Feb.29th 1816 in Rockingham,
North Carolina. She was also born in North Carolina ans they were all
believed to have lived in Rhea County, Tn. Any information that you can give
me would be extremely helpful and appreciated. Thank you for your time and
