Rudolph M. Rhea

Rudolph M. Rhea, 79, of 11307 Goose Creek Road, Bristol, Va., died
Sunday, April 22, 2002, in the Wellmont Hospice House. He was a lfielong
resident of the Bristol area. He was the owner of R.M. Rhea Painting
Contractors. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul M. Rhea.
Survivors include: wife of 62 years, Carrie Rhea; three daugthers, Mrs.
Ernest (Mary Ann) Leonard, Mrs. Gary J. (Judy) Carrier and Mrs. Jeffery
(Jeannie) Blevins; sister, Lillian Cannon; brother, Frank D. Widener; eight
grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2002, in
the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.Walter Statzer officiating. Special
music will be by Rev. Donald White. Entombment will follow in the Mountain
View Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Michael Leonard, Gary Carrier, Kevin
Blevins, Matthew Owens, John Mason, Chris Billings, Brian Ball and Hauk
Dobbs. Honorary pallbearers will be David Owens, Jake Faust, Howard Ritter,
John Morrison, Billy Rhea and Randall Rhea. E-mail condolences may be sent to
www.weaverfuneralhome.net. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Wednesday at the Weaver Funeral Home.
