The Reas in Franklin Co., IL came by way of Warren Co., TN. There are two
Abner Reas, the second is approximately same age as the Abner Ray of Morgan.
He remains in Franklin Co., while the Abner Ray from Morgan moves on to
Iowa, Nebraska, and Washington. I have found Rheas in Warren Co. (from
Johnita Malone) but no seeming connection. Drakes and Lanes from Warren Co.
moved to Sangamon and Morgan, IL areas.

The marriages you gave for Abner Ray to Mary Ann Keats (Keith) and David Ray
to Sarah Morton are correct. Moses Ray married Mary Ann's sister, Rebecca
Ann Jane Keeth (Keith). Later Davis Ray (David) married Nancy Ann Jane
Carpenter in Mason Co.

By the way, you will find Rebecca Ann Jane Ray in the 1880 Bates Co., MO
census. She is living with Richard Walker. Richard was married to Abner's
daughter Mary, but after her death, he married Moses and Rebecca's daughter,
Mary. Nearby is Joseph (Hiram) Ray son of Moses and Rebecca.

Thanks Pat. Your effort is appreciated. I will try to find more on the
widow (?) Martha Ray in Cass Co. And look into the Moses Ray of the Civil
War.
