Send a check in the amount of $25 to Joseph C. Rhea, 16017 E. 7th Ave., Aurora, CO 80011-4513. Again, please note that this book deals only with the descendants of Joseph C. Ray (Rhea) of Washington County, VA, b. abt 1746 in Ireland, d Oct 1829 in Washington County, VA, married Margaret McComb. His father was John Ray of County Roscommon, Ireland who married Hannah Hasty. No further information is available on their origins in Ireland. There is a brief introductory chapter on the origins of Rhea families. The books are hard bound with enameled pages and were published in 1969. Most descendants of this family are located in Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, and Nebraska with smaller numbers in Kentucky, California, Michigan, and Oregon. I do not recommend the book as a general reference on Rhea families. Incidentally, first name is Joe and not Ed.
