The "librarian" who was so concerned about the sale of Rhea books should look first at the nature of the request that was made; i.e., a request to the author about how this book could be obtained. Second, the response made was to suggest to the inquirer that the book has a specific limited audience. The purpose of the author in producing the book was to furnish a family historical legacy specific for descendants of Joseph C. Ray (nee Rhea) of Washington County, VA --- no know relationship to the Rev. Joseph. Perhaps the "librarian" would be more helpful by commenting on the limitations of interlibrary loan rather than assuming that all authors are interested in selling books.

I mentioned the Rhea book because I am a librarian and I know that I found
that book in a library and got it on interlibrary loan. You do not have to
purchase it. Go to your library and ask how to interlibrary loan. Someone
emailed me and said that you could only get that book from them. I am not
trying to sell books for anyone.
