27 Jan
Robert,
Yes, Margaret Rhea, an older daughter of Rev. Joseph Rhea, did marry Robert
Preston, of Washington County, Virginia. Her brother, Lt. Matthew Rhea
married Jane/Jean Preston, the only sister of Robert Preston.
Thus, we have a brother-sister marry a sister-brother. There was another
Preston brother, Walter Preston, who came to America with the Preston
parents. His name was passed down to many Rhea / Preston descendants,
including my father and brother, Walter Preston Rhea III and Walter Preston
Rhea IV.
Best wishes,
Anne Rhea Bruce
