Anne Rhea Bruce, Michael W. Walsh, & List,

In his hand-written "Genealogy of the RHEA Family," 1893-94, William L.
RHEA named 51 direct descendants of Rev. Joseph RHEA who fought for the
Confederacy, and only one who fought for the Union, that being Alexander
RHEA. He was the son of John RHEA (married to a "Miss DOTSON"), and the
grandson of Elizabeth (RHEA) and Major Robert RHEA. Elizabeth was the
only daughter of Rev. Joseph RHEA.
