Dear Michael,

My great grandfather was David V. Rhea from Paris, IL. He was as you said a
lieutenant in the 7th IL Calvary during the Civil War. David was the son on
Robert M. Rhea and Nancy Evans(?) of Sullivan, TN. I have had great
difficulty researching back beyond Robert M.

David V. married a Mary Judd and had two daughters one of which is my
grandmother, Grace Lillian. She married a Clarence Mayo and moved to
Washington State. They had one son, Clifford, who was my father.

I would appreciate any information you have on our Rhea family. NE records
are sketchy at best. I have had great difficulty locating information about
Mary Judd.
