There is a remote posibility that his middle name was willard because his
youngest son was named willard stewart, but I have always heard and thought it
was william. The scottish rite records indicate william.I found him in the 1880
census in PleasantHill cass co.,page 25,dist 6,Enu 58 with his fatherJames R
Rhea and it is william,so i guess it was william.Icertainly appreciate your
efforts.I hav also found him in the 1870 census with his father's name spelled
Rayin Jackson co.
