A bit of Scottish Trivia
Did you know that the words "tarmac" and "macadam," used to describe an
airport runway or road surface, are named after a Scottish engineer, John L.
MacAdam (1756-1836)? MacAdam invented the product we know as asphalt by
blending tar, sand, and aggregate.
Proud to be an American!!!!!
