I have long searched for my Givens Line with no success. While looking
through some records I found this, and thought someone might recognize the
family and have some use for it.
Descendats of George Givens
George Givens was born 1743 in Larone Co. Ireland, and died October 8, 1846
in Pike Co OH. He married Nancy Morgan WFT est. 1801-1831 in prob. Beaver Co
Pa. She was born February 6, 1773 in Beaver co Pa., and died September 18,
1850 in Pike co Oh.
George Givens first wife died in Ireland. He came to America with his two
young sons, one of which died aboard ship, the other dying soon after their
arrival in America. He stayed in Pennsylvania for a time, marring again
having three sons. The only son named in Pennsylvania was Robert. He then
moved on to Ohio. There he married Nancy Morgan and had the rest of his
children. He was born 50 miles southwest of Belfast near Ballygawly, Co.
Tyron, Ir.

Elizabeth (Betsy) Givens, b. March 25, 1805, Ross Co Oh d. August 21, 1867;
m. David Rhea/Ray, WFT est. 1833-1860; b. WFT est 1788-1808; d. WFT est
1833-1894.

I have dates of all the children if anyone wants them
This genealogy does not contain any further information on Elizabeth or Polly
Givens.
My Elizabeth Givens m. Thomas Hines in Stafford, Monroe Co Oh they were my
gg grandparents. They migrated to Kansas in 1864, with children.
