If I am following Ed Foley's book correctly, he was born in 1773 Augusta Co.
VA.

According to the book by an earlier writer, can't think of his name right
off, Joseph something; John and Mary Deloach had Mary and Paphry. I get so
confused about these John Rheas. I think it was Patricia Hall that suggested
that my John Rhea died in 1837 in Tennessee.

Mary Rhea married Thomas Buckingham and they had Mary Rhea Buckingham that
married John Greer. This from the Greer Family Papers. Buckingham was also
in Hawkins and Sullivan Counties.

Then Ron Rhea wrote that according to the "Virginia Soldiers of 1776" John
Rhea born in 1760 in Augusta Co. died in Tenn. in 1830; married Mary Deloach.
