#195 Anna Rhea's date of birth was found in typewritten material originated by William J. McCullough of Davenport, Iowa, dated January 6, 1913,* and sent to Frank H. Rhea, Esq., Springfield, Illinois, a descendant of James Rhea, son of William and Elizabeth (Clark). Under the heading, "THE SCOTCH-IRISH by chas. A. Hanna," is the notation, "Congregation at New Dublin, New River, organized in 1782, now vacant. New River, Virginia, was where Anna Rhea, daughter of Archibald Rhea was born November 29, 1783." Robert Reah/Reagh/Reaugh Sr. and his family lived on Cripple Creek, a branch of New River.
#196 Haar, Jean, Arcadia, CA., Personal Communication. A descendant of Archibald and Margaret Rhea of Montgomery/Wythe County, Virginia and Knox County, Tennessee, through their daughter, Elizabeth, and her husband, Samuel Houston.

#197 McCleskey, Charles S. Descendants of James and Joseph McCleskey, Soldiers of the Revolution, (Baton Rouge: C. S. McCleskey, 1978), 118,* Microfilmed by The Salt Lake Genealogical Library, U.S. and Can. Film Area, 1318147, Item 2, Pages 118-121 are photocopies of records in James Jarrett mcCleskey's Family bible. Isabella was born on January 14, 1752, and died January 22, 1803. One entry states that james McCleskey married Isabella Paxton, February 17, 1782, suggesting that Isabella Rhea was previously married. James and Isabella's son, David henderson McCleskey, born August2, 1783, married Martha J. Jarrett, November 10,1803. Of their ten children, two had "Rhea" for a middle name, Louisa and Isabella. The Bible of Charles McCleskey's grandfather, Nathanial Turk McCleskey, noted that James McCleskey married Isabel Rhea of Augusta County, Virginia. They had three other children: Martha, born 1785, married Joseph Paxton, James Rhea, born 1788, married Frances Wood, and Susanah, who married Bolton Thurmond.
