GASTON/KIRBY

I am des from John GASTON who I think helped erect this church. He
imigrated ca 1715-1720 at Perth Amboy. Desire info to support/deny
"family tradition" which states a John was murdered by Indians. Too
many Johns to sort from! Would any of this be substantiated in this
book?
Am also researching Nathaniel KIRBY, who m. Elizabeth GASTON (b.31 mar
1788) feb 1810 but can find no trace of Nathaniel other than his death
in 1833. I suppose he would have to "be somebody" to be included in the
book, but thought it was worth asking.
